Origin Energy purchased OC Energy in February this year and over the last 6 months has been preparing to migrate all OC Energy customers over to the Origin account platform. The migration was effective at 10am on Friday 13 September, and so Origin Energy is now managing your account.

If you are moving out and want to request a disconnection, you’ll need to complete your request via the Origin Energy web site. To do this, please select the “Disconnect Electricity” button below and you will be re-directed to the Centralised Energy Services page on Origin Energy’s website. There you’ll be able to complete the required information and your disconnection request will be actioned asap. If you have serviced hot water at your apartment, then you will also need to complete a separate hot water disconnection application. Once you have completed your electricity disconnection, please return to this page and click on the “Disconnect Hot Water”.

In the “Account number” field you can use your OC Energy account number (located in the upper right hand side of your bill).

Your final bill will be an Origin Energy bill with all the usual payment options.
